“The ponies who donated their feathers to me were Emeth, Redeye, and Forget Me Not.
I only met Redeye yesterday after he so generously offered some of his feathers. He only has one wing, you see. I want to talk to him more If-when I get back. If he’s in town, that is. He really seems like such a skittish pony.
Forget Me not used to be a pegasus, and now is not. So, they had lots of feathers to give to me. Thank you!
And of course, Emeth was kind enough to lend me some of his, too. He can’t fly, just like me! Well, I guess not like me anymore…But, I’m glad to have a part of him close to my heart! Ugh, how cheesy was that? Please don’t tell him I said that, okay? Our little secret!

Nurse Redheart: It’s not.
Candlelight: What am I supposed to do?
Nurse Redheart: If we were to get our hooves on Pegasus feathers, we could surgically add them to your right wing, balancing them out. Then you’d probably be able to fly.
Candlelight: Then why don’t we get some?
Nurse Redheart: It’s illegal to request Pegasus wing feathers, since they don’t really grow back.
Candlelight: Dammit! Ugh, what can I do now?
