Well, many people have been asking me how I feel about the ‘Down with Molestia’ act, since Princess Celestia is my favorite pony. It’s been irritating me too, so this is the only post I’ll ever make about it.

I don’t understand how people think that taking down the Molestia blog is going to completely obliterate the Molestia trope from the internet. Molestia was an ongoing (and very popular) joke long before JJ created the Molestia blog, which was created 2 years ago. What the heck were you guys doing when the blog got really popular a year and a half ago?(Also, there’s more than one Molestia blog, just so you guys know).

And, the people who are actually wishing rape and molestation on JJ and the supporters of Molestia need to FUCKING STOP. That’s the only thing about this that makes me angry.

That is far worse than what JJ’s blog consists of. That is truly disgusting, not a completely harmless blog about a fictional character. At this point, it is seriously bullying.

If your little sister or brother is on the internet, surfin’ the web at 7 years old without a parent or guardian keeping an eye on them, then there’s a problem. The internet’s full of much worse things than the Ask Molestia blog, so if you’re that concerned about what your sibling is looking at on the internet, then pay some damn attention to them when they’re online. I mean damn, it’s just as easy to stumble onto /b/. 

So, yeah. I don’t support Down With Molestia because JJ will never see it, and if he does, he’ll probably just laugh it off, and the Molestia trope will still continue on strongly even if the blog was somehow deleted. It’s very pointless, and in my opinion, a bit ridiculous.
