The bell above the door chimed as it slid open slowly. Chiffon’s ears perked up, a customer already? How strange, she shop had only just opened. The elegant mare lifted herself gracefully off of the stool in the back room and trotted into the front room to see a nervous looking mare glancing around.
“Hello darling, welcome to the J’adore Boudior, is there anything I can help you find?”
The mare turned around to face Chiffon, looking startled and embarrassed, “Oh, hello, I…uhm…” Her voice trailed off and her face reddened. Chiffon smirked a little, looking the mare over. Her tan coat was smooth and shiny and her messy golden hair fluffed around her face, streaked with soft lilac. Her left eye was a chocolate color, and it stared widely at Chiffon. The other was covered by a white eye patch. Curious.
Chiffon smiled reassuringly at the young mare, “Don’t be shy darling, are you looking for some piece in specific?”
The mare hesitated, “Well yes and no, I was just browsing. “ Chiffon nodded and smiled, ushering her closer. The mare took a few cautious steps as Chiffon led her to a back room. The walls were lined with mannequins donning various skimpy outfits; some with lace, some with fluff, some transparent. The mare’s eyes lit up as they searched around the room.
Chiffon noted the mare’s expression and chuckled. “Where would you like to start?” The mare sheepishly motioned to a little lacey nightgown adorning one of the mannequins. Chiffon nodded and lifted it off with her magic, “Now darling, legs up!” The mare shifted herself onto her hind legs and Chiffon slipped it over her head, fastening the ribbons down the back of the outfit. The piece was light pink with lots of frills and ribbons.
Chiffon ushered her over to the mirror and the mare blushed. “Oh wow…” The mare admired herself in the mirror.
Chiffon examined the mare. She was actually quite pretty, her fluffy hair, her lovely chocolate eye. Her body curved in all the right places and Chiffon found herself looking a little more than was professional. The mare glanced behind herself to Chiffon’s gaze resting along her hips. The mare turned red. This only made Chiffon’s gaze more devilish. “What did you say your name was, again, darling?” she crooned.
“Candle-Candlelight Song,” the mare’s lips turned up at the corners, a small smile developing. Chiffon took a step forward and draped a hoof around her shoulder, brushing her hair out of Candlelight’s face.
She moved her muzzle very close to Candle’s ear and whispered, “Well Candle, darling, would you like to take this fashion show into another room?”

And then she got all pissy and whined about how much I hated her and cried about how I wasn’t following her and blah blah for like 10 minutes and then left ^^;

WHAT TO DO:
Write a one-shot fanfic (that is, a short story) About either Candlelight Song or Claire Switch! It can be an adorable fluff about how Candlelight fell in love with your OC, it can be a horrific story about how Claire was murdered by a pack of timberwolves, I don’t care! Any genre you want, the only rule is that it has to have a focus on Candlelight or Claire!

Entries will be judged based on effort and creativity. But try to keep the length reasonable. Just a paragraph isn’t going to fare up well against a lengthier tale!

Criminey, but that was a lot of Ponies to draw! Though all things considered, the most difficult part of all this was that first Town hall scene. Drawing that backdrop and the table was tough, especially when trying to keep perspective. >_< This post features a whopping 25 cameos, a few in-jokes, an Easter Egg, a lot of world building, some story-related hints/clues, and a heaping dose of carpal tunnel syndrome for me.
