“If you don’t know my name, then you obviously don’t go to Chiisana Uma. Everypony knows who I am-Claire Switch. A.k.a, ‘The Queen’. I’m certainly the most popular pony at the school, which gives me power other ponies only wished they had. I’ve been going to this school since I was old enough to enroll. I got in automatically, of course. That’s one of the nice things about having rich parents. Of course ponies get jealous-But if anypony tries to stand in my way, they’re going to get run over, and that’s a fact!”
**A pale pink pony struts down the long hallway. Her long, rose pink hair swings inches away from the ground. As she walks past, ponies talk about her in hushed whispers. She grins, happily taking in all of the attention she was getting.
She meets up with her clique, a group of gossiping ponies who accompanied her ‘Royalty’. After a few minutes of idle conversation, Claire gets the feeling that she’s being watched. Turning her head to look behind her, she notices a monochrome pony looking in her direction-Or was she? The mare’s dark gray bangs completely covered her eyes. The other ponies follow her line of sight.
“Who’s she?” One speaks up haughtily.
“I don’t know. She must be new.” Another giggles.
“Look at her mane? Has she ever even heard of scissors?”
“Why is she in all black? Do you think she’s one of those types?”
“Those types get on my damn nerves.” Claire murmurs.
“Everything gets on your nerves…”
“I don’t know, but she blends in pretty well. Or maybe that’s her total lack of presence.” A third pony sneers.
Claire continued to watch the pony for a few more seconds. “Guess I better go lay down the law.“
She struts towards the gray-scale pony, flipping her hair behind her for extra effect. She reaches the mare gracefully, and leans casually against the wall of lockers.
"Hey, you. You’re new here. I know, because I know everypony. Now, first things first, do you have a name?” She asks.**
