Persona: Though cheery and optimistic, Candlelight is more or less a complete ditz. She loves to make new friends, but she is very commonly viewed as slow-witted. She’s quick to get sad or confused, but she snaps out of it just as easily. Consequentially, her emotions sometimes jump all over the place. But she will do almost anything to cheer ponies up.
Background: When Candlelight was 4, her mother died from illness. Her father, who loved her mother more than life, left Candle and her then 12 year old sister Phantasmorical on their own. Candlelight thinks that it’s because he couldn’t bear to see reminders of his wife, but Phantasmorical remains very bitter about it. Candlelight’s sister took care of her until she was old enough to take care of herself.
In her 3rd year of school, a unicorn filly misfired a spell. The spell went wayward, and smacked into Candlelight’s right eye. Since then, her right eye has been a pale shade of silvery-blue, and almost completely blind.
She got her cutie mark at the wedding where her two best friends got married. She, of course, lit the spark to their relationship in the first place.
She is terrible at flying, and has failed her flyer’s test 8 times.
You’re not really one for strip clubs. Not only do you choke on the smoke, but you find the whole idea rather…uncomfortable. But, as your increasingly-drunk friends exclaim, it is your twenty-first birthday. As a means of celebration, they have dragged you out to the Bouton, a strip club on the outskirts of Manehatten. Like every other strip-club, the faint tinge of smoke floats aimlessly throughout the air. Settling back into your unusually comfortable chair, you grumpily watch the currently empty stage. A small group is beginning to form around the lip, which pikes your curiousity-Even if only a tiny bit.
“Believe me man, you’re gonna love this!” One of your friends pipes up excitedly.
“Sure.” You grumble,
The background lights begin to dim, and out from behind the curtains steps a mare. As the lights focus on her, The entire room is silent. Her orange coat clashes with her blonde and purple mane in a fitting way. She wears black lingerie, the lace accenting her wide curves perfectly. Standing with one hoof in front of the other, she eyes the crowd in a way that exclaims ‘confidence’.
The music begins. A slow, swinging rhythm that sets the mare into motion. She takes a few more hip-swinging steps forward, and begins to dance. The entire crowd remains silent in awe as they watch her, her body moving sensually in rhythm to the music. With every beat came a swing of her wide hips, and she moves slowly, yet gracefully.
You are also starstruck by the performer. You find yourself leaning further and further into your seat. She takes a step of the stage, and continues her hypnotizing walk all the way to your seat. She leans over, your muzzles nearly touching. You can smell her perfume, an intoxicating scent of strawberries and candy. She smirks, and circles around your chair once. When she’s back in front of you, she inches forward until she’s straddling your lap. She continues the trance-inducing dance, rhythmically gyrating her body slowly. Her half-closed eyes stay locked onto yours throughout the whole ordeal. It is by now that you realize that one of her eyes is a bright, blind blue.
The song begins to reach it’s end, far too soon for your liking. She giggles and plants a light kiss onto your muzzle, and dances back onto the stage. Spinning in a few more circles, the music ends with a flourish, and her body is still. The crowd erupts, flinging bits onto the stage and begging for another performace. She only laughs and blows a kiss to them. Then, she looks over to your seat and winks playfully. The crowd continues to cry out as she prances off the stage. You, on the other hand, are still frozen.

I just really don’t like Flash Sentry as a character. Very 2-D, very shallow, very stereotypical ‘total hunk omg’. I didn’t like him at all.
